Microsoft 365 will be UNCG’s single destination for file storage and collaboration tools currently provided by Google Workspace, Box, and Zoom, beginning Spring 2023.

New Learning Space Technology Classifications
ITS and the Office of the Registrar will classify UNCG learning spaces based on criteria such as size and utilization to right-size learning space technology appropriately.

Next Generation Web Project
Launched in spring 2020, the Next Generation Web Project is the large-scale development, revision, and redeployment of all public-facing websites at UNCG.

WebFOCUS-Argos Consolidation

Updated ITS Policies
New and revised IT policies will be written to comply with UNC System requirements and the IT Controls Audit.

Oracle Cloud Migration
Oracle databases, including those that support Banner, will migrate to the Oracle Cloud by Summer 2023.

Enterprise Application Consolidation
UNCG will reduce infrastructure costs by consolidating multiple enterprise application environments and managing them in the cloud by Summer 2023.

Internet & WiFi Network Upgrade
Juniper Networks will run all campus wired and wireless networks by August 2023.

Defer SAN Replacement to FY 2025
The refresh cycle for the Storage Area Network (SAN) will be extended to Fiscal Year 2025.
